Ava Carmichael is a Fashion Designer, Digital Marketing Strategist, and Brand Manager with over 15 years of experience building brands from concept to consumer. She has had the privilege of working on collections for some of the largest apparel companies in the USA.

She has designed collections for global and multimillion-dollar brands with many of her styles seen extensively across the United States and worn by such celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Isabella Revel (‘Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, Dawn’ on Nickelodeon), and Miley Cyrus.

Her film credits include the multi-award-winning Feature ‘Float’ and most recently, ‘Little Sicily’, a Short period piece based on immigrant life in 1950s Wilmington, DE. Her credits also include commercials (Campbell’s/V8/Pepperidge Farms), and she has worked with such actors as Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead), Ken Davitian (Borat), Gregory Itzin (24), and Cristine Rose (Heroes)

For over seven years, she has been assisting businesses through her marketing agency, Pitschy Media, with their digital marketing, social media management, branding, influencer outreach, e-commerce, and creative content needs. Her expertise spans across different industries, having worked with clients ranging from travel and hospitality to multi-million-dollar tech, home services, retail, consumer products, and public figures.

Ava's journey in the fashion industry began in 1998 when she embarked on a career as a swimwear designer. In 2007, she shifted her focus to denim, working with major apparel companies and honing her craft. In 2009, Ava created and launched Berry Jane, a spirited childrenswear brand that grew into a women and kids activewear and swimwear line.

By 2014, Ava had already made significant strides in her career. She launched multiple global brands, oversaw multi-million dollar collections for well-known companies such as JCPenney, TJ Maxx, Saks 5th Ave, and Wal-Mart, and collaborated with leading companies in the children's market. However, it was in 2015, during a pivotal moment at TJ Maxx headquarters in New York City, that Ava recognized the fusion of her design and marketing skills had been instrumental in her success.

Today, Berry Jane continues to thrive under Ava's leadership, experiencing steady growth year after year.
