Bicycle Bag Collection. About Me, In My Own Words:
My passion is creating – whether it’s with a dress, or weaving a moment, a mood or a story around a product. Over the years I have successfully built brands and ideas from concept to consumer, including a few of my own.
I began designing professionally in 2003 with my first collection of denim. In 2005, I launched an evening wear collection at Dallas Market. It wasn’t long before my dresses were being sold nationwide through an eCommerce site I built myself as well as on eBay. In one year’s time, I had sold hundreds of wedding and bridesmaid dresses online and designed one of the worlds first wedding dresses made entirely of lambskin.
As an independent fashion designer, one of my greatest challenges (and eventually, biggest asset) was to build collections on a very tight budget. If there was no road, I created one myself. I never let a challenge stop me in my tracks. I always asked myself, “How hard could it be?” Because of this, I have learned to wear many hats and I’ve learned many technical aspects along the way.
